Spiritual Identity describes the following things about you,
1)Who you are?
2)Your Value and
3)Your choicewhen you have the right and freedom to choose anything you need.
I always think, Where God went when I was in trouble, when I took my wrong choice, why he allows diseases, divisions, why he allows people to sin?
Why he did not take me away from that place and divert me to something else?. If he had helped me at that time, I will be happy now. But, he helps me now if I pray to him to save me from all my troubles. He could have done this initially itself.
Hope u too have the same doubt and confusion in your mind. Hereby I share my understanding with you. You can always correct me if I am wrong.
God-human Relationship is like a Father-Son Relationship. He does not intrude into our life every time. He gives you freedom to design, live, enjoy your own life.
Take Son-Father relationship. Father helps his son to make a better life. But he doesn’t say, you should eat only what I order or he doesn’t say you always do this, do that. In fact it will bother you and you will not love your father. But what the Father does is that, he gives you freedom to choose your Job, study, he gives money in your hand to choose what all you need and so on. Once you have formed a better life, Father keeps the distance and now you have started taking care of your life. But if something goes wrong in your life, the immediate/only help you expect is from your father and he comes and helps you.

It is the same with God, he gives you all the freedom. You do whatever you want, but he comes always when you ask him for the help, He corrects and refill your life, so that again you live a better life(like Father helps his son when he is in trouble).
So, the life you design is very important. Everything is there in this world and you can do whatever you want. It is your choice to choose anything. But the choice you choose decides your spiritual Identity. [Thank God I finally came to the point what I wanted to mention.]

David got a chance to do whatever he needs. He lost his spiritual Identity by doing a mistake. It leads not only to a single mistake, it goes on and on. David did the following.
1) Adultery
2) Plan to handle this.
3) Murder.Bible says, “But the Lord was not pleased with the thing David had done.”. Lord said, See man “You did it secretly; but I will do this thing before all Israel and in the light of the sun.”
b) Now lets see about Jesus. He was taken into desert and he didn’t have food for forty days. He was very hungry at the end of the day. Now satan, comes and gives him lot of opportunities to come out of this situation. Jesus had the right to choose what he needed, but he didn’t do it. You can find his response here.

He said,
1) Bread is not man’s only need, but every word which comes out of the mouth of God.
2) You may not put the Lord your God to the test.
3) Give worship to the Lord your God and be his servant only.Bible says, “Then the Evil One went away from him, and angels came and took care of him.”. Jesus too had the same feeling as we have. What if Jesus had chosen what Satan offered?
So friends, we have the freedom to choose whatever we need. But think, our heavenly Father wants us to have a better life. Let’s form a one which pleases him not ourselves. All the best
